The Position: We are looking for a Payment Posting Manager to join our growing team! 

 Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical payment posting or healthcare revenue cycle, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of EOBs, ERA processing, patient accounts, and payer guidelines.
• Proficiency in billing systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of payment posting specialists to meet departmental goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage and oversee all payment posting activities, including electronic and manual payment entries, adjustments, and refund processing.
• Monitor reconciliation of daily deposits and ensure accurate distribution of receivables.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied payments, missing EOBs, and unpostable deposits in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with billing and collections teams to resolve payment discrepancies and support overall revenue cycle operations.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis on payment posting performance and trends to senior leadership.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient and financial data in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
