Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role you will the first point of contact for our dealers and customers buying Bertch Cabinets. You will provide support by answering questions, taking orders by phone and email, as well as making customizations to kitchen cabinet orders.
The Customer Service Representative will:
- Take incoming customer calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide product information to dealers and customers through phone and email communication.
- Provide product shipping details to dealers via phone.
- Process orders for new products and replacement parts.
- Complete credit memos, enter returned good data, and enter customer delivery information.
- All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret line graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
