Could you be the full-time Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer in Bucharest we’re looking for?

Your Future Role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, adaptable, and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll perform Verification & Validation activities related to Interlocking & European Train Control Systems (ETCS) for Central and Eastern Europe projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Technical Leads, Safety Assurance, Installation, and Test & Commissioning teams), performing testing and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining verification methodologies and performing tests, but also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

We’Ll Look To You For:

• Defining verification methodologies for selected deliverables, as outlined in the V&V strategy
• Creating test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities
• Performing and reporting on allocated verification, integration, and test activities
• Collaborating with the Safety Assurance Manager to share and justify results for safety demonstrations
• Interfacing with experts across departments to align on V&V activity methodologies
• Specifying, procuring, developing, setting up, and configuring assets such as test benches and instrumentation
• Following up with Test & Commissioning teams for tests exported to site execution

• University degree in Engineering (Transportation Systems, Electronics, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent)
• Basic knowledge of railway signalling principles
• Good analytical skills
• Understanding and experience in software coding
• Proficiency in English (full professional proficiency)
• Basic knowledge of ITC hardware architectures (client/server, workstation/Blade, IP networking, routing, operating systems)
