Sr Technical Writer

• Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain high-quality developer-focused documentation, including tutorials, API references, and code examples.
• Aid the team in writing for new features and large releases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure documentation aligns with product releases and updates.
• Develop and maintain style guides and best practices for technical writing.
• Work with PMs and the support team to identify gaps in documentation that are causing customer pain points.
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of developer-focused content.
• Specific skills:
• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a database-focused role.
• Experience using Git and docs-as-code
• Preferable tooling experience with static sites and VSCode
• Experience with GenAI applications and development
• Experience documenting programming and querying languages (e.g. Java, Python and SQL)
• Experience documenting REST APIs
