Job Description:
In this position as a Senior Manager, you will oversee OMB Circular A-123 internal control assessments and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) engagements for federal clients. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of risk management and compliance projects, ensuring alignment with agency goals and federal standards. In this position, you will also:
- Manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Guide the development and integration of enterprise risk frameworks, including risk identification, assessment, response, and monitoring strategies.
- Direct the evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR), systems, and operations.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Prepare and present risk profiles, control testing results, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Advise clients on compliance with OMB A-123, GAO Green Book, and COSO ERM frameworks.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience supporting federal risk management or internal controls engagements.
- 7+ years of experience leading OMB Circular A-123, GAO Green Book, and COSO ERM frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience assessing ICOFR and operational controls, with knowledge of federal compliance requirements and risk management/GRC tools.
Desired Skills:
- Strong project management skills, including scope, schedule, and resource management.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Experience working directly with federal clients, including leading workshops and briefings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor project teams.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
