Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
Support the payroll team on various processes including but not limited to payroll preparation, payroll review, process documentation review, and data analysis. The Payroll Intern will also provide dedicated support on various projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the payroll team in daily administrative payroll tasks.
- Support the payroll team during the monthly payroll cycle (such as data collection, input preparation, payroll review, post payroll activities)
- Preparation of monthly checklists & KPI reporting.
- Review and update the internal process documentation.
- Perform payroll data analysis on demand.
- Participate in payroll projects and support data collection, setup and testing activities.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings with HR / HR Benefits and Accounting.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in HR, payroll or finance activities
- Precise, figures oriented and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Fluent in English & French, any other European language would be plus
MS Office and Excel proficiency
