About The Job

Reporting to the Safety & Security Manager, you will provide support to the various levels of management in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and co-workers and in protecting our assets and the IKEA brand. You will also maintain an overall risk aware and control culture and compliance with internal IKEA and external legal demands.

Your Assignment

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for co-workers and customers through trainings, audits, inspections and standards and national/local legal demands.
• Manage Fire Command Centre daily operations and responses to any emergency situations.
• Meet IKEA intended level of safety and security by achieving positive results during Sec Check and insurance inspection.
• Conducting internal and external accident investigations, recommending solutions, quality reporting of all incidents, follow up and ensure preventive actions are implemented.
• Conduct compliance checks and reviews on health, safety and security standards and document them, ensure actions are implemented and follow up.
• To ensure the Store’ Emergency and Crisis Response programs are always capable of immediate response.
• Ensure security guards are trained with the ability to secure IKEA assets with IKEA intended level of Safety and Security

Qualifications

Your Profile

• You have a strong knowledge in the principles, practices and techniques of safety and security procedures and all relevant local legislation.
• You have knowledge in the fundamentals of investigation methodology and process.
• You are a strong communicator, possessing both verbal and written skills.
• You demonstrate strong personal integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• You can work in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations.
• Experience in emergency response and crisis management, and previous experience on safety and security in a retail environment is preferred.
• Have knowledge and understanding for Security, Thai Safety requirement, Fire Prevention, and Incident investigation.
• Familiar with the Intrusion alarm, CCTV and Fire protection system.
• Monitor Security performance and provide feedback to the security company.
