Schedule And Pay

• Part Time, 20 hours weekly
• 4PM - 8PM
• Monday thru Friday & holiday rotation
• $19.00/hour
• This position may be eligible for a shift differential depending upon schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dining Room Attendant to join our team in Gaithersburg, United States. As a Dining Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
• Assist in dining room and catering setup, ensuring tables are properly arranged and set
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, becoming familiar with their preferences to provide personalized service
• Complete required log sheets, including meal counts and dishwasher temperature records
• Stock supplies in service areas as needed, maintaining inventory levels
• Practice and adhere to food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist in clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area throughout service
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality and efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous serving and/or kitchen/food service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
