An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Garage premises Cleaner to join our Engineering Team at our ​Walkergate Depot in ​Newcastle upon Tyne.

At Stagecoach Northeast we operate over 400 vehicles, which connect our passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our depot at Walkergate is a purpose-built facility and we operate 109 buses and coaches from here.

The successful candidate will play a key role within our cleaning team to ensure our depot garage remains consistently clean and organised.

The role includes but is not limited too;

- Cleaning pits and garage areas

- Helping receive deliveries

- Painting

- Parts collection (license dependant)

- Cleaning road wheels

This is a shift-based role with the working pattern consisting of 20 hours, five days over the week not including Sundays which will be discussed at interview.

A licence is preferred but not essential but is advantageous towards pay.

Salary: £12,700
