In an ever-changing financial environment, financial risk management is crucial to ensuring the organization’s long-term success. Monitoring mechanisms play a key role in this process, which helps identify, assess and effectively manage these risks. As a Practice Leader, Credit Risk Strategy, you lead the development and evolution of our credit risk strategies for credit cards and automobile financing products. You’re responsible for coordinating credit risk initiatives at both the transformation and operational levels. You have strong technical expertise and a talent for making complex concepts accessible, allowing you to act both as a coach for the team and as an advisor to the business lines. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Serve as leading expert for your practice and its development.
- Handle specific files from start to finish as needed, utilizing your technical expertise.
- Produce and organize complex, strategic work and deliverables related to your practice area.
- Provide expert support and mentoring with respect to various analyses, strategy development, personalized approaches and case management.
- Help plan and manage your department’s priorities.
- Contribute, as an expert, during certain presentations to decision-making bodies.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience in data and/or modelling
- Knowledge of French is required
- Expertise in the credit risk field
- Knowledge of SAS, SQL and/or Python
- Knowledge of credit cards and automobile financing
- Trade Union (If applicable)
