Global Process Execution Lead (ATR, OTC, STP)

PURPOSE OF ROLE
GSC is responsible for the finance execution of ATR, OTC and STP. As Global Process Execution Lead you are ultimately responsible for the execution and performance of the respective domain. That includes to ensure financial accuracy, on time closing & reporting and compliance according to the internal
control framework & standard processes. The Global execution lead is ultimately responsible to continuously ensure that we are track on deliverables and key metrics across the respective domain and ensure that there is a strategic plan with milestones and key activities on how to reach the best-in-class targets.
The Global Process Execution lead works actively to:
Ensuring continuous compliance, mastery and improvement of global standards delivering high business results. Bringing resolution to functional and cross-functional issues and drive performance management. Ensure delivery according to the Finance Delivery Promise and ensure that e.g. efficiency targets are met or overachieved. Safeguard the Blueprint and ensure that standard execution and responsibilities are followed. Work closely with the relevant Functional Process Owners (FPOs) functionally as well as cross functionally to ensure continuous improvement and that we run the processes in the most
efficient way. The Global Process Execution lead, as SPOC, is an active member of the FPO/Key user community and drive implementation of new standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
PROCESSES & STANDARDIZATION
Ensure delivery according to the Finance Delivery Promise and ensure that e.g., efficiency targets are met or overachieved. Make sure that the organization is as lean as possible and that we continuously improve how efficiently we execute the processes without losing quality. Develop roadmap, key priorities and strategic initiatives for responsible domain in close collaboration with FPO
Focus on End-to-End process optimization which also include x-functional work
Take responsibility for that improvement initiatives and changes in processes are implemented across all entities globally at GSC and for non-offshored terminals Ensure Process compliance and drive Standardization of processes across all entities and sites for responsible domain. Work closely with the business to identify opportunities to improve processes and reducing waste
from existing process landscape. Safeguard the standards and ensure that no exceptional processes are being executed on those that haven’t been separately signed off. Perform regular Gemba and process confirmations. Identify process gaps and support to bridge the deviations as per standard.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE
Ultimately responsible for ensuring that the execution targets are met for the respective domain. Responsible to work closely with the Regional Functional Process leads and the Business. Performance Management team to analyze the KPI data and ensure corrective actions are taken. Ensure that for each region/terminal there is a clear plan and milestone targets on how to reach
the Best-in-class performance targets. Work closely with the Regional F&A Partner to ensure that there is a clear alignment on performance for each region and alignment on activities to happen to close any targets. Develop clear action plans and closely work with Regional Functional Process leads to improve the performance of operational metrics. Provide continues feedback to the FPOs on potential gaps and risks in the process execution. Responsible for the internal controls and baseline controls being executed on and that there is a clear understanding on documentation requirements. Responsible for ensuring that the Blueprint is followed with primary focus on Roles & Responsibilities. Approve any new or change to accesses. Well versed and good understanding of group accounting policies, guidelines, and control
framework for adherence.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Drive best practice sharing within the execution team of each process domain
Engages the minds and hearts of process users to contribute to improvements through Kaizens & Process Confirmations and feedback to respective FPO
Responsible to implement or support implementation of changes to process or systems Regularly Lead or participate in Kaizens to ensure that performance is improved or that process gaps are closed. Take an active role as Key User and participate in community/network to where e.g. questions about process and systems improvements are discussed. Help to bridge any gaps between functions to ensure a true End to End perspective. Actively communicate and keep the employees in respective process domain well informed to ensure high engagement and commitment. Develops people – coaching and mentoring to build organizational capability, talent and bench strength. Actively communicate/ reiterate the changes to offshored terminal stakeholders.
REPORTING AND SCOPE
The position reports to APMT GSC Head of Execution
Important stakeholders are Regional F&A Partners, Regional HoFs, Head of Finance Transformation, FPO and BPO
Scope: Global entities within GSC scope (all sites)
Location: Mexico City, GSC
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum 14-16 years’ experience in OTC/Collections domain. FNA Manager/Process Lead/Controller in functional area of expertise, preferable experience of at least 5 years. Qualified Chartered Accountant/MBA/Masters in finance. Strong people leadership skills, experience leading leaders. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Experience in delivering results through others (both direct and indirect report). Level-headed and effective at change management, capable of pushing back when appropriate and face resistance in a calm and respectful manner. Good English written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
