Job Description:

• LOGISTICS ANALYST

As a Logistics Analyst at GDIT, you play a vital role in supporting the mission of the Department of Defense and CECOM customers. Your work ensures operational readiness and compliance, especially in deployed environments like Kuwait.

• Manage procurement and vendor coordination by sourcing supplies locally, developing pricing strategies, and conducting cost comparisons.
• Your research and data analysis help optimize supply chain performance.
• Shipping and receiving are key parts of your role.
• Assist with equipment deliveries, prepare documentation, and coordinate turn-ins of obsolete items to DLA Disposition Services.
• Consolidate shipping orders and process DD Form 1149.
• Inventory tracking and reconciliation are central to your responsibilities.
• Resolve discrepancies across systems and maintain accurate records using GCSS-Army, LIW, AESIP, FEDLOG, and GDIT Asset Management.
• Support technicians by opening and closing maintenance work orders and managing TMDE calibration schedules.
• Ensure calibration lists are current and coordinate asset pickups and drop-offs.
• Your role includes controlling the flow of goods and services from origin to customer placement.
• Oversee procurement, receiving, movement, storage, reporting, and disposition of assets and equipment.
• Maintain property records and conduct quarterly 100% asset inventories in accordance with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
• Identify excess or obsolete assets and coordinate their disposition.
• Training is another key responsibility.
• Educate program personnel and Property Custodians on property policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DoD regulations and GDIT standards.
• Collaboration is essential to your success. Work closely with government personnel and local stakeholders to support Army units and maintain regional stability.
• Deliver mission-critical logistics support under Secret clearance. You manage procurement, shipping, and asset tracking while resolving complex supply discrepancies and maintaining 100% inventory accuracy.
• Coordination of transportation—using both commercial and government methods—ensures timely delivery and operational efficiency.
• Support maintenance workflows and sustain equipment readiness.
• Utilize multiple logistics systems to manage operations. Your proficiency in GCSS-Army, LIW, AESIP, FEDLOG, and GDIT Asset Management allows you to conduct multi-database research and resolve supply issues.
• Documentation and reconciliation skills ensure transparency and accountability. Maintain compliance with contract requirements and drive efficiency in challenging environments.

• Familiar with Army logistics, acquisition, production control, and property management. Your expertise includes electronic data systems, demand forecasting, and asset disposition.
• Good problem solving is key to the success of GDIT; The knowledge and experience that you have and share with your other teammates will have been key to the success of GDIT.

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science; plus, 2+years' experience; or AA/AS plus 4years' experience or High School Diploma and 6 years' experience. Required Technical Skills: Global Combat Support System certification.

The likely salary range for this position is $70,125 - $94,875. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
