The Transformation office have the mandate to ensure translation of the strategy into value-driven transformation portfolio and to orchestrate portfolio implementation as strategic Programme Management Office, ensuring an efficient, integrated implementation governance across steering, demand management, design and delivery. Track and holistically report on the Bank’s overall change portfolio in a value-and outcome-oriented manner.Your Challenge
- Detail the target governance set-up to ensure effective implementation of transformation portfolio, streamline processes/templates where necessary, syndicate and implement
- Enable strategic implementation oversight and facilitate decision-making on top management level through preparation of periodic holistic BTTC, ExB and BoD reporting and ensuring efficient and structured communication
- Define opportunities for automation to streamline governance and increase transparency vis-à-vis senior stakeholders
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular meetings and feedback sessions
- Drive in more depth a portfolio of initiatives, including:
- Maintain a 3-year bank strategic change roadmap in line with the bank strategy
- Establish and align on clear business value/outcome-oriented targets/goals at a strategic programme level as a basis for measuring progress and success
- Ensure holistic initiative portfolio performance oversight incl. budget control and tracking of key milestones, KPIs/value realisation to ensure in-scope, in-time and in-budget delivery, taking a holistic business and technology lenses
- Shape and strengthen partnerships with group strategy, finance, risk teams and delivery owners to successfully support implementation of the strategy
- Implement risk management practices to identify and mitigate potential risks, including ensuring budgetary integrity
Your Profile
Bachelors Degree
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in business transformation, project management, with high exposure to Banking Industry
- Proven experience in project portfolio management with a strong focus on business cases, budgeting & controlling, and deliverables tracking
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align project portfolios to organizational goals
- Should understand Agile delivery especially around value delivery (i.e., understanding of OKRs/KPIs) within an agile context (certification preferred or at least one year of experience working on an agile project)
- Should be a team player, resilient and work in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, executive leadership and project teams
- Display a keen ability to conceptualize ideas, convey compelling narratives, effectively visualise concepts, develop strong presentations to senior stakeholders to support decision-making, e.g. Executive Board and Board of Director
- Produce high-quality outputs with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience at a global bank or at a renowned wealth manager preferred
- Experience at a strategy consulting firm a plus
- Fluent in English, and German would be a plus
