Scope of Position
This highly motivated individual, as part of the Maintenance Team, will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, ensuring safe and efficient repair and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role provides hands-on technical expertise while guiding and coordinating the work of the maintenance team.
This position reports to Maintenance Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, Texas.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all maintenance activity during second shift.
- Oversee all maintenance employees during second shift.
- Assist in building shut down Power, water, and Equipment
- Security of building at end of shift. Alarm, Doors and parking lot
- Troubleshoots, rebuilds, repairs or replaces equipment.
- Handles system and/or equipment element installations.
- Performs regular preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Assists the production process by acquiring items needed to ensure the assembly process is continuous for time sensitive orders.
- Carries out a variety of work in the maintenance of the buildings.
- Keep active list of work accomplished during shit
- Handoff notes of all issues or concerns while on shift daily.
- Supports recycling or trash pickup as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Company Management
- Responsibility directly tied to Watts Values Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent and technical training in electrical and mechanical areas.
- Four (4+) years of experience in a variety of maintenance and mechanical repair.
- Able to independently perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial equipment
- Able to properly utilize a volt/amp/ohm meter in the act of troubleshooting to identify faults and defective electrical/electronic components
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment
- Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of public buildings and machinery.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skill in reading and following blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Skill in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Must be multi-task oriented and able to work on several ongoing projects simultaneously.
- Ability to be flexible, persist, self-motivated and display an effort to continually improve performance.
- Accept responsibility: take pride in the quality of your work, evaluate it regularly, and improve upon learning.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Fort Worth location in Texas. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
- Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
