Product Director – Core Marketplace Platforms

We’re now looking for a Product Director to define and drive the strategy for our shared marketplace capabilities. This role reports directly to the CPO, Core Platforms, and is about building the core platforms that let our verticals move faster, innovate smarter, and create great experiences for millions of people.

What you’ll do

• Set the direction – Develop and own the strategy for our Core Marketplace Platforms, aligned with Vend’s priorities and vertical needs.
• Build for scale – Ensure that platforms solve meaningful problems, are adopted across verticals, and deliver measurable ROI.
• Lead with impact – Co-lead the Core Marketplace Platforms unit with the Engineering Director, sharing responsibility for outcomes, culture, and alignment.
• Empower teams – Partner with vertical leaders to unlock innovation and growth by giving them the tools and speed they need.
• Grow talent – Build and develop a high-performing product management team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience in product management, including proven success leading product teams and managers.
  Ideally with exposure to multi-vertical or marketplace platforms
• Proven success in B2B or platform product strategy, ideally in multi-vertical or marketplace contexts.
• Strong understanding of marketplace mechanics, distributed platforms, and user journeys.
• Track record of delivering platform products with measurable business and customer impact.
• Experience leading through organisational change while keeping engagement high.
• Excellent communication skills, able to align and inspire across diverse stakeholders.
