We Require
Five years of full-time law enforcement experience, which includes two years of experience in a full-time plain clothes investigative assignment with a State, County, Municipal, or Federal law enforcement agency
High School diploma or GED
Other Requirements
Applicant must be certified by the State of Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZ POST) as a full authority Peace Officer and in good standing at the time of appointment
Valid AZ Driver’s License upon hire

Preference will be given to those applicants who have 5 years of experience in computer and mobile forensics. CFCE certification through IACIS or equivalent. Completion of Cellebrite CCO/CCPA. Experience using digital forensic tools and software. Understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, file systems, network protocols, and encryption. Ability to perform forensic imaging, data carving and keyword searches to extract and analyze digital evidence from various electronic devices. Proficient in a variety of digital forensic tools and software, such as FTK, Axiom, Graykey, Cellebrite, and open source forensic utilities
Job Contributions
Conduct interviews of victims/witnesses in criminal cases
Locate witnesses, documents, information, and evidentiary items
Develop, utilize, and maintain informants and information resources
Conduct internal administrative investigations as assigned
Compose extensive reports, memos, and other correspondence using a computer
Serve criminal subpoenas, legal process, and/or documents as required
Maintain AZ peace officer certification requirements in accordance with AZ POST Admin Code R-13-4-111 for all sworn positions
Meet with attorneys and assist in the preparation of cases for trial
Testify in court as required
Perform advanced, specialized, or original criminal investigations, which may involve undercover or covert responsibilities, search warrants, and arrests
Operate a motor vehicle
Working Conditions
Office and enclosed areas in a fast-paced environment with frequent stressful situations
May require long periods of sitting while completing paperwork, standing, and moving about during the course of performing duties
Ability to travel to and from various county locations for court appearances, investigations, meetings, and trainings, utilizing personal or county-owned vehicles
Ability to move up to 20 pounds
