ABOUT THE JOB:
Counsel is responsible for providing legal support to the various international locations, drafting and reviewing contracts, supporting regulatory compliance, assessing and mitigating risks, and providing strategic legal advice to various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle complex legal challenges effectively and efficiently.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to provide informed advice to the organization
Contract Drafting and Review: Support the drafting and review of various types of agreements to ensure they are legally sound and meet organizational objectives
Compliance Management: Monitor and support organizational compliance with applicable laws and regulations and assist with implementing appropriate policies and procedures
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks in business operations and transactions and develop strategies to mitigate such risks effectively
Advisory Support: Provide legal counsel and support to different departments within the organization, assisting in decision-making processes and resolving legal issues
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the relevant country and jurisdiction(s)
3-5 years of prior experience as a practicing lawyer or legal advisor; Prior experience with a multi-national company preferred
Fluent English
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal principles necessary to provide accurate legal guidance; Experience providing legal guidance on GDPR matters is preferred
Effectively collaborate with a global team, including subject matters experts, to provide consistent and effectively legal support locally and in other regions
Effectively analyze complex legal issues and data to identify risks, opportunities, and appropriate courses of action
Communicate clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally, to convey legal advice and interact with stakeholders
Develop innovative solutions to legal challenges, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential liabilities
Skillfully draft, review and negotiate agreements and other legal documents to prevent errors and omissions and achieve favorable outcomes for the organization
Uphold and promote ethical standards, ensuring that all legal practices comply with professional and organizational guidelines
Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time to handle multiple legal matters and meet deadlines efficiently

Salary range from 10 000 to 15 000 PLN gross – depending on experience
