Team Overview
The position in discussion is with the Transformation team at KGS, which is KPMG’s global delivery center and an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability globally.
The role holder will work closely with leadership across KGS India and KPMG member firms to drive transformation programs as well as develop a culture of continuous improvement.

- Lead and manage large operations transformation initiatives working closely with KGS India management as well as global KPMG member firms
- Identify opportunities for OpEx to be implemented to derive tangible benefit for KGS and member firms
- Ensure business cases are thoroughly researched and syndicated
- Deliver OpEx projects within the divisional portfolio on time, to scope and within budget
- To manage global stakeholders and build long term relationships to continuously generate roadmap of chargeable work opportunities
- Assess all aspects of current operating model including people, process, technology etc. as well as design and implement target operating model, working in close collaboration with the service lines
- Identify and implement process improvement, automation, right shoring etc. opportunities using lean and other transformation approaches
- Analyze and interpret business data and turn it into insights
- Support research activities for internal/ external performance benchmarking
- Lead problem solving and brainstorming workshops with project stakeholders
- Prepare analysis reports, solution designs and other project deliverables and own responsibility for timely completion and quality of outputs
Job Requirements
Education background
- Required:
- Graduate / Engineering background (REC/NIT/IIT etc.)
- MBA from top tier colleges
- Desirable:
- Certified Six Sigma Master/Black Belt
- PMP certified / PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Other qualifications relating to data analytics/ Intelligent automation
Mandatory Skills
- 12-14 years of overall experience of which at least 5-8 years is in independently driving transformationprojects in large global organizations or with consulting firms
- Excellent knowledge and experience of leading global process transformation projects using lean/ six sigma tools and techniques
- Hands-on experience of identifying and implementing Intelligent Automation opportunities (process mining/ RPA/ AI/ workflow etc.)
- Experience in developing global operating models leveraging onshore and offshore delivery centers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Skilled in the use of data analysis tools and able to extract insights from complex data
- Excellent Project management skills including ability to manage multiple workstreams/ projects at the same time.
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
