We’re seeking a Manager, Telecommunications, to join our growing team.
Telecommunications Manager oversees the telecommunications systems across clinics, support centers, and call centers. This position leads the IT Telecommunications team and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of telecom infrastructure across multiple locations, with a strong emphasis on reliable voice and data communications.
How you’ll make us better:
• Lead the design, deployment, and process optimization of VoIP systems across all company locations
• Manage telecom infrastructure supporting multi-site operations and high-volume call centers
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, and external vendors to ensure optimal system performance and uptime
• Monitor telecom metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost efficiency
• Direct troubleshooting efforts for voice-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of telecom architecture, configurations, and procedures
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to communication capabilities
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal security policies.
• Support customer service enhancements through collaboration with Operations on system requirements and improvements, responding to queries, managing the support ticket queue, and managing escalations
• Conduct follow-ups with internal customers to identify and address areas for improvement
• Manage and evaluate vendor relationships with VoIP system providers
Your special skills:
• Strong project management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and change management skills
Prerequisites for success:
• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in an individual contributor telecommunications position required
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience of a telecommunications team required; multi-location healthcare or retail environment preferred
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, SIP, QoS, and bandwidth optimization
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based telephony solutions
• Familiarity with workforce management and call routing strategies
