Who Should Attend?
We’re seeking compassionate and dependable Residential Program Workers (RPWs) who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This event is specifically to support our sites in the following locations: Watertown, CT, Harwinton, CT, Plymouth, CT, Southington, CT
For this event, we will ONLY be conducting interviews for folks who are able to:
• Commit to a consistent 16-40 hour per week schedule, which includes weekends (Saturday & Sunday) at one of our Group Homes.
• Can reliably commute to work site located in Watertown, Harwinton, Plymouth or Southington.
• Willing to accept an hourly pay rate, ranging from $18.50-$19.40 per hour.
• Make appropriate accommodations to attend a paid 5-day New Employee Orientation in Hartford, CT.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License and a verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
This role offers hands-on experience in:
• Patient observation
• Medication distribution
• Recreational therapy

Key Responsibilities
• Assist clients with daily living activities (personal hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Administer medications and monitor health status.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Implement individualized care plans.

• Strong Communication – Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Attention to Detail – Ensure accurate medication and care plan execution.
• Physical Stamina – Support clients with mobility and daily tasks.

Qualifications
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED
