About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Area Manager to lead a portfolio of Skechers stores across the South Island - based in Christchurch!
In this multi-site leadership role, you’ll oversee store operations, drive performance, and coach Store Managers to success. If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for people and results, this is your chance to take the next big step in your retail career.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of multiple Skechers stores to achieve sales targets and KPIs
• Coach and support Store Managers to build high-performing teams and drive exceptional results
• Monitor store performance, identifying opportunities for growth and celebrating success
• Manage wage costs and ensure efficient rostering across all sites
• Support Store Managers with recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain brand standards across store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock control

Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as an Area Manager, Cluster Manager, or Multi-Site Leader in a fast-paced retail environment
• A confident, driven leader with strong business acumen and operational know-how
• Passionate about developing people and creating a positive team culture
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments
• Strong understanding of sales reporting, wage control, and visual merchandising
• Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and team development
