Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Principal Consultant – Splunk Engineer 

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Splunk Engineer to join our India-based team. This role involves working closely with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to build and maintain Splunk solutions that deliver real-time insights into system performance, application health, and security posture. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Splunk administration, data onboarding, and dashboard development. 

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud environments 
• Onboard data from various sources including servers, applications, cloud platforms, and network devices 
• Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports tailored to operational and security needs 
• Optimize Splunk searches and indexing for performance and scalability 
• Troubleshoot ingestion issues and ensure data integrity across all sources 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support incident response and root cause analysis 
• Implement Splunk best practices for parsing, field extraction, and data normalization 
• Document technical processes, use cases, and configurations

Minimum qualifications / Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 
• Level 1.5  of hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud 
• Strong command of SPL (Search Processing Language) 
• Experience with log management, SIEM, and data analytics tools 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux/Windows environments 
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment 
• Preferred qualifications / Skills 
• Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Admin) 
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) or ITSI modules 
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) 
• Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001) 
• Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
