Roles and Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Lead/oversee global tax transformation projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Process Improvement:
- Partner with functional owners to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the tax function.
- Partner with functional owners to implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance tax compliance and reporting efficiency.
- Change Management:
- Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during transformation initiatives.
- Conduct training and workshops to support staff adaptation to new processes and technologies.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed deliverables including presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure thorough documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all transformation activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with tax transformation projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MTx or CPA) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
Skills:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly in finance or tax-related projects.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in management within the finance/tax domain.
- Experience with managing a global team.
- Experience in communicating cross-functionally and globally to within and outside of finance stakeholders
Compensation:
The starting base pay range for this position is 215,000 usd to 265,000 usd. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, geographical location, education, and skill set
