Instructional Assistant, Elementary School (NE) (Part-time)(2025-2026) - St. Casimir School, Baltimore MD

Our Catholic school is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled individual to serve as a Part-Time Classroom Aide. The aide will work closely with teachers and staff to support student learning, classroom management, and the overall mission of the school.

Essential Functions

• Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and small-group work
• Provide individual support to students as directed by the teacher
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, or transitions as assigned
• Support students with special learning or behavioral needs under teacher guidance
• Assist with preparing materials, organizing supplies, and setting up classroom activities
• Model Christian values and encourage positive student behavior
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, staff, and parents
• Other duties as assigned by the principal or classroom teacher

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma (required); some college or experience in education preferred
• Previous experience working with children in a school, parish, or childcare setting is a plus
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills

Range: $22.00, Hourly
