Junior Accountant

Your responsibilities as a Junior Accountant at Fix Network: 

• Inventory management – ensure inventory is managed effectively to prevent write offs, fraud and any large adjustments.  Ensure inventory is counted every quarter end and reconciled 15 business days after the quarter end.
• Enter NOVUS stock orders in our ERP system
• Complete inventory counts as required
• Reconcile any discrepancies with the inventory count
•  Finance – manage central billing 
• Organise reports and other documents received daily in connection with insurers' central payment process
• Authorisation numbers spreadsheet
• Finalise order numbers when receiving the invoice copy
• Process and import the received data in different electronic formats into the computerised database
• Send out invoice copies to fleet companies
• Collect and compile payments received from insurers/fleet companies to redistribute to NOVUS Network members
• Process Cash Receipts in ERP and bank statements
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities with unpaid invoices (chasing payments)
• Record payables transactions to the accounting system
• Request franchisees’ statements and cross check information
• Calculation of royalties
• Generate monthly Customer Sales Report
• Generate monthly Franchisee Sales Report

Product sales – administer the sale of SRP and Plastic Polish products with the customers and manage stock replenishment.

• Other related tasks as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate:

• College diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in accounting
• Excellent practical knowledge of the Microsoft suite, especially Microsoft Excel
• Excellent computer skills and general understanding of computer systems
• Experience in processing financial data - an asset
