The Opportunity

We’re currently seeking passionate and committed Chefs to join our Crown Banquets team. We have Casual and Full-time opportunities available.

In This Role, You Will:

• Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to deliver some of Australia’s most prestigious events, including industry galas, corporate functions, and private celebrations.
• Prepare and present a diverse range of hot and cold dishes across Crown’s various food and beverage outlets.
• Assist in the execution and plating of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions of up to 1,500 guests.
• Uphold food safety standards and demonstrate a sound understanding of HACCP protocols.

About You

You’Ll Bring:

• Proven experience in high-volume catering or events within a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
• The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

• Due to the demands of the role, including the required working hours and the continuous nature of the work, only individuals with full working rights will be considered.
• To be successful, you’ll be flexible to work across a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, late nights and Public Holidays.
