Purpose Of The Role

We’re seeking an experienced senior Software Engineer to architect and develop a next-generation iGaming web product for both mobile and desktop. The ideal candidate will spearhead technical design, oversee the development lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality, robust, and innovative gaming experience.

Role And Responsibilities

• Development: Lead the architecture and development of a high-performance, and scalable iGaming product for both mobile and desktop web.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical strategy, direction, and guidance on best practices in software design, architecture, and implementation.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with all stakeholders, including product management, design, and platform teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
• Drive Code Quality: Implement and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in security and performance.
• Project Scoping and Planning: Work closely with stakeholders to define roadmaps, estimate timelines, and manage project priorities.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging frameworks, and technologies relevant to the iGaming space.

Work Experience And Skills

Required Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with a proven track record of designing and building high-performance, customer-facing web applications.
• In-depth knowledge of modern frameworks (React, TypeScript, Next.js, or similar), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Strong experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Experience mentoring engineers and cultivating high-performance environments.

Preferred Experience:

• Track record in developing and maintaining casino game backend systems or game engines.
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party RNG providers and other iGaming-related services.
• Track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across different time zones.
