Senior / Lead Data Engineer - Experimentation Platform

What We’re Looking For:
 We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Experimentation Platform team and help build a robust platform for experimentation and hypothesis testing. You will design and implement data pipelines that allow teams to run experiments, measure performance, and analyze results in real time. Key Skills:

• ETL & Data Pipelines: Strong experience building and managing ETL pipelines to handle real-time data for experimentation.
• Data Architecture: Expertise in designing data architectures that support experimentation workflows, from hypothesis creation to result validation.
• Hypothesis Testing & Experimentation: A solid understanding of experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing and measuring the impact of changes based on data.
• Experience with cloud databases like Snowflake.
• Programming: Experience with Python

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze experiment results, validate hypotheses, and measure key metrics like user clicks, engagement, and behavior.
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and tools for managing large-scale experimentation data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Experimentation Framework: Help build a platform that enables teams to easily create, run, and analyze experiments. Support hypothesis testing, measure changes in user behavior (e.g., clicks, engagement), and validate outcomes in real time.
• Real-Time Data Pipelines: Design and implement scalable data pipelines that capture real-time user interactions and experiment data, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
• Data Quality & Governance: Define rules and implement data controls to ensure that all experimentation data is clean, reliable, and usable for analysis.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, data scientists, and analysts to design effective experiments, track key metrics, and iterate based on findings.
• Improvement & Scalability: Continuously improve the experimentation platform to handle growing data volumes and complex experimentation requirements.
• Insightful Analysis: Enable teams to gain deep insights from experiment data, providing clear validation of hypotheses and actionable recommendations for product decisions.
