Key Responsibilities/Objectives
 
•    Responsible for equipment and engineering services, mainly for value purchase requests (<$30K) 
•    Equipment covers molding, stamping, assembly, plating, cabling, labs (testing, inspection, ect)… 
•    Engineering services covers product testing and sorting. 
•    Sourcing window contact for DDN BU in Dongguan city
•    Annual purchasing volume: ~$5.7M USD, ~1400 PO 
•    Need to take care of sourcing/negotiations + PR maintain/unblock + PO release 
•    Need to work with category managers to find synergies and drive savings. 
•    KPI: Reduction (4-5%), Avoidance (4-5%) based on rolling 12 month spend, and other KPIs same as team 
•    Be flexible to support other BU/Plants in China when needed.
•    Be flexible to support SEA region’s communication with Chinese suppliers (Philippines/Malaysia/Thailand)
•    Develop supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier alignment with the company's strategic objectives
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies that deliver the best value for the company and our customers

Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

• •    Full time bachelor’s degree, engineering preferred
• •    Have sourcing experience in MNC with solid knowledge of sourcing process and SAP, better having experience for multiple plants 
• •    Minimum 3-year working experience in procurement or engineering area
• •    Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in matrix environment
• •    Direct/indirect candidates are both fine, equipment/engineering/tooling sourcing experience would be plus 
• •    Customer focus and continuous improvement attitude
• •    Candidates should be clear about his/her career interest to match this role

What Your Background Should Look Like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
