The Opportunity

The Manager of People and Organization Manager primary responsibility is to provide People function contact support to the business, playing an important role in the execution of People priorities and deliverables within the defined People strategy, and integrating People activities for the business

• You will promote and advocate for the team member experience at all stages of the team member life-cycle, bringing focus.
• You will also partner and collaborate with other People Partners, Managers and Center of Excellence in the delivery of People solutions.
• You will be Hybrid in West Chester, Ohio location

Cornerstone Services offers expertise and corporate support across the four Cornerstone Brands. These shared services include IT, digital commerce, customer care and distribution. Cornerstone comprises four interactive, aspirational home and apparel lifestyle brands: Ballard Designs®, Frontgate®, Grandin Road®, and Garnet Hill®. Cornerstone operates a separate ecommerce site for each brand, distributes 163 million catalogs annually, and has 33 retail and outlet stores.

• You will support the centralized CBI Marketing team. Overall, you will be responsible for approximately 80+  team members.
• You will report to the VP of People (Cornerstone Brands).

Your Impact

• You will be the business contact for the People (HR) function, and partner with relevant COEs.
• Respond to and resolve Team Member relations issues, including investigations and advising on corrective actions.
• Establish yourself as a contact for People Solutions and main People deliverables. Examples of these include talent reviews, performance management, and development planning.
• Advocate for the team member lifecycle through the support of or execution of pre-boarding, retention, off-boarding activities and, local Health and Wellbeing programs and activities.

What You Bring

• Previous generalist experience as an HR Advisor / Partner operating at a level of guiding / influencing leaders (Some HR experience in a retail environment)
• Experience with a variety of People disciplines with the ability to use People data to inform deliverable
• 5+ years of business experience in the areas of Human Resources is required.
• 3 years of HR experience within a Retail environment
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
