Associate Creative Director: Copywriter

Dentsu Creative is looking for an ACD Copywriter with a strong portfolio of innovative, high-impact digital writing. You'll collaborate with UX and UI designers, digital producers, campaign managers, and strategic marketing planners to create website content and digital ad copy for multiple clients. You will work with a national automotive company and a luxury hotels client, among others. You’ll report to a creative director. New York, Chicago or Detroit location is ideal for weekly onsite collaboration in our offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage primary responsibility for the voice of each brand, ensuring all creative ideas are in consideration of strategic briefs
• Work in partnership with art directors and UX leads to execute digital experiences
• Interface with clients daily to consult on content
• Provide vision and guidance for implementation of digital content
• Manage and mentor copywriters and delegate work
• Facilitate creative work between project managers, producers, and development
• Create documentation for website copy to be authored in Contentful or other CMS

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in an agency setting
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Advertising or equivalent experience
• Experience copywriting for digital deliverables including websites, UI copy, digital ads, product copy and 3D showrooms
• Experience being client facing and presenting to clients
• Management experience with at least one managed employee
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with partners
• Experience and familiarity with Content Management Systems

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
