About The Location:

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

• Greet guests promptly and professionally with eye contact, a smile, and good posture. 
• Manage walk-in guests and guests waiting for others. 
• Seat guests at tables according to party size and preference, ensuring timely and accurate seating. 
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs, inquiries, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. 
• Recognize and address repeat guests by name to personalize service. 
• Present menus, daily specials, and beverage/wine lists knowledgeably and confidently. 
• Handle telephone calls professionally, managing reservations and providing information about the restaurant and resort services. 

Operational Support:

• Prepare and maintain the host/hostess station, reviewing reservation logs and organizing dining room setup to optimize workflow. 
• Maintain station charts and cover counts, balancing server workloads to meet Four Seasons service standards. 
• Assist with administrative duties including updating reservation books, sales reports, attendance sheets, and filing documents. 
• Monitor guest history to note special occasions and preferences, informing management as appropriate. 
• Inspect and maintain daily menus and ensure all food and beverage products meet quality standards. 
• Manage communication among colleagues to ensure smooth restaurant operations. 
• Ensure adherence to grooming, uniform, and conduct standards as per Four Seasons policies. 

Complaint And Safety Management:

• Address guest complaints discreetly and effectively, documenting issues and resolutions, escalating to management when necessary. 
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. 
• Follow all safety and emergency procedures, responding promptly to incidents. 
• Report any accidents immediately to management. 

Event And Banquet Participation:

• Support banquet and special event service, including weddings, private functions, and off-site catering. 
• Participate in inventories related to food and beverage operations. 

Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute ideas for improving guest service, productivity, and departmental processes with management approval. 
• Ensure proper control and minimize waste, misuse, and breakage of supplies and equipment. 

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Full-time position requiring flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs as needed. 
• Must maintain professional grooming and appearance standards.
