What Collections contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Collections is responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This includes dispute research, developing payment plans with customers, and building relationships of trust with customers and internal business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Interact regularly with offshore teams to support overall collection activities by ensuring that customers have the necessary information to expedite their payments to Cardinal Health
  • Respond to inbound requests from offshore teams in a timely and professional manner
  • Respond to concerns raised by Cardinal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
  • Initiate, execute, and track appropriate escalation procedures
  • Identify issues and determine root causes in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders when offshore operations do not meet Cardinal Health business expectations or requirements
  • Monitor progress of solutions implemented offshore to ensure resolution of root causes
  • Conduct regular quality performance audits of offshore team such as monitoring calls, rating these, and communicating quality issues to offshore leads
  • Prepare training material and conduct training sessions as needed 
  • Assist the onboarding and system access for offshore team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • 3-5 years business experience including collections, finance or customer service preferred
  • MS Office experience (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
  • SAP and Business Objects experience preferred

Location

  • Ideal candidate will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule - coming into the Dublin, OH office 2-3 days a week and working the other days remote.

Anticipated salary range: $67,500-$96,300
