Life Insurance Custody Officer (3-month contract)

YOUR ROLE

Contractual documentation: follow up of LI account documentation
Accounts opening: managing all the processes to open LI accounts (master and sub- accounts) and be the internal and external key contact for the documentation
Ensuring controls at every stage of the opening account: Regulatory controls, Management and custody fees, etc.
Connectivity: Implementation of external communication services such as Internet Banking, SFTP, SWIFT
Operations : managing withdrawals, additional payment, fees, VAT and all processes related to change of circumstances of LI Companies while ensuring integrity and quality of data related to the operations
Request: ensuring the follow-up and delivery of requests from LI companies in relation to the custodian relationships, including reporting, statements, web access, taxes, SWIFT connections, valuations, assets classification as per the CAA circulars, PRIIPS files, etc…
Processes/Risk monitoring : complying with relevant Group and LOESA procedures / guidelines
Process/Risk monitoring: enhancing procedures and processes related to LI custodian tasks
Regulation : maintaining awareness of regulatory developments (PRIIP’S, EMIR, etc.) and update LI procedures accordingly
Support with additional punctual tasks as needed, such as trade execution, account closure, announcements on PA, administrative tasks

YOUR PROFILE

Degree in Business Management or economics or strong professional experience in life insurance companies or banks.
Minimum 5 years previous relevant work experience within an insurance company (such as partner servicing, commercial roles) and/or within a bank in operational functions (such as account management).
Client service orientation, ability to work under tight deadlines; excellent communication skills
Autonomy, organization & ability to multi-task
Knowledge of European Life Insurance environment (Legal, Tax, Regulatory) and products
Team player, solution oriented, proactive
G2, CRM, DocuPrint, LA Retrieve, Microsoft Office, Docflow, LA Scanner
English and French; any other language is a bonus
