Design Quality Engineer

Major Accountabilities:

C

• Good Knowledge of selection and use of all wiring harness components according to properties like material type, temperature class etc.
• Good knowledge of vehicle architecture/topology
• Good knowledge of DFMEA
• Good knowledge of Boundary Diagram and Parameter diagram
• Good knowledge of various functions of vehicle and intended/unintended electrical and mechanical connections and energy transfers
• In Depth knowledge of wiring harness design process
• Good knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing process
• Good knowledge of Harness assembly/installation process at OEM
• Good knowledge of DVP&R
• Good knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
• Good knowledge of automotive industry core tools like: Technical Design review and Change management
• Good knowledge of problem resolving and root cause analysis techniques
• Basic knowledge of PFMEA
• Familiar with the electrical and electronic parts of the vehicle
