Summary:
The Corporate Recruiter is a strategic partner to hiring managers, responsible for attracting and hiring top talent across aligned departments. This highly visible role involves national-level sourcing, managing requisitions, conducting initial screenings, overseeing external recruiting partnerships, and negotiating offers. Success in this role requires building strong relationships across the organization and with external search firms, working collaboratively to meet evolving talent needs. The recruiter will also partner closely with Human Resources, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Compensation, and Internal Communications to support broader people initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Candidate Experience & Hiring Strategy
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and external recruiting partners to create an exceptional hiring experience
- Lead discussions with business leaders to understand hiring needs and drive recruitment strategy
- Advise hiring manager on structured interviews and behavioral interview methodology to enhance the quality of hiring decisions
Recruitment Execution
- Source, recruit, and hire professionals across a wide range of roles
- Create comprehensive sourcing strategies while leveraging external and internal resources to hire top talent
- Manage requisition workload in Workday ATS
- Conduct candidate screenings and evaluate and send assessments
Collaboration & Onboarding
- Work closely with HR, Talent Management, and Onboarding to support exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes and serve as point of contact between acceptance and start date
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage a high requisition load while consistently delivering a stellar candidate and hiring manager experience
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience partnering and influencing senior hiring managers and executives throughout the recruiting cycle
- Strategic thinker who brings resolution to any challenges and problems throughout the recruiting process
- Strong understanding of the Employer Brand and able to convey culture through various communication channels
- High degree of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Ability to pivot and quickly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
- Analytical and metrics-oriented, demonstrated ability to drive business and behavioral changes with data
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Education, Training and Experience:
- 5+ years full cycle recruiting experience including leading searches; agency and/or in-house, experience with corporate departments preferred
- Prior experience in insurance, employer benefits, or professional services strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field
- Experience with Workday or similar applicant tracking systems preferred
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
