Senior Acquisitions and Development Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Acquisitions & Development Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of the company’s growth projects — from sourcing and acquiring properties or assets, to overseeing development, leasing, construction, and integration. This role blends strategic deal-making with hands-on execution, ensuring projects align with company objectives, are financially sound, and are completed on time and within budget.

Strategic Vision & Pipeline Development

• Provide input on creation and execution of the vision for real estate acquisitions and development.
• Identify, source, and evaluate new sites and properties to expand the organization’s portfolio, and provide real estate services to companies under the enterprise umbrella.
• Develop a sustainable project pipeline in alignment with growth objectives.

Acquisition & Deal Execution

• Participate in negotiations for LOIs, purchase/sale agreements, leases, and other product related agreements.
• Conduct underwriting, market analysis, and financial modeling to assess feasibility and returns.
• Oversee due diligence, including review of financials, leases, entitlements, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage deal execution from start to finish, coordinating with sellers, brokers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.

Development & Construction Oversight

• Direct the planning, design, and permitting phases of development projects.
• Work closely with the construction group to coordinate successful completion and delivery of projects.
• Supervise staff and outside consultants to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Provide input on contractor and consultant selection, contracts, and performance.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources to meet financial and operational targets.

Financial Oversight

• Develop and manage budgets for acquisitions and development projects.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and financial performance tracking.
• Evaluate innovative funding strategies to optimize project profitability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related fields. Master’s degree (MBA or MSRED) preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in real estate acquisitions, development, leasing and/or project management.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully closing acquisitions and delivering development projects.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, underwriting, and market analysis.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously.
