About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solution Software Development Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you will help design, develop, and deploy 2–3 software applications that directly support manufacturing quality and process improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your programming and problem-solving skills to real-world engineering challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing software tools and applications to support manufacturing quality and process improvement.

• Collaborate with engineers and process owners to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

• Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.

• Integrate applications with manufacturing data systems, databases, or dashboards for data collection, visualization, and reporting.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and version control to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.

• Support deployment and user training for engineering teams, providing troubleshooting and updates as needed.

• Contribute innovative ideas for process automation and optimization in manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript).

• Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or .NET) is a plus.

• Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and data visualization tools.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in teams.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with manufacturing systems, IoT, or industrial data platforms.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis, SPC, or Six Sigma methodologies.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization (Docker).

• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
