Project Manager - MEP and Automation

Summary Of The Role

Project Manager – MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) & Automation will be responsible to set up, manage, and execute local technical investment projects with high focus on HSE and quality, within the allocated budget and time. Cooperate with General Manager/Project owner Steering Committee and Technical and Purchasing functions in Headquarters or Region to ensure that new investments are built and can be operated according to Jotun standards.

This position is based at Yanbu and will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, control and plumbing systems in various industrial projects and modifications within Jotun Saudi paints sites.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, including Business case preparation support, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining Jotun quality standards. Monitor and Report cost development throughout all the phases of the project status regularly
• Work closely with internal departments, Authority having jurisdiction, Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers, Jotun Group and Regional technical functions according to Jotun standard contract requirements. Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to address any issues that arise.
• Ensure that all procedures in Jotun’s investment stage gate process are followed and Report status regularly, including deviation, and suggest corrective actions to the steering committee.
• Responsible for HSEQ, risk management and MOCs within the area of responsibility and projects he manages.

We Are Looking For:

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree. Electromechanical/Electrical/Automation is preferable.
• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and project management capacity.
• Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written.

Location: Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
