About the role

The Trading Oversight & Reporting team work in a fast-paced friendly environment where they’re responsible for ensuring HL is compliant with MiFID II transaction reporting at all times.
We are looking for someone who can thrive, whether working as part of a dedicated thriving team or on solo projects, with a desire to influence internal change in an ever-evolving regulatory climate.
The role is a mixture of operational and regulatory focus which can provide a varied and interesting role for the right individual.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse and resolve exceptions for MiFID II Transaction Reporting.
• Resolving a backlog of exceptions from the BAU environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of Transaction Reporting reconciliations
• Analyse and resolve outliers to ensure compliance with Best Execution policy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the prompt resolution of any discrepancies found
• Support the maintenance of strong, effective controls and comprehensive documentation
• Take full ownership of issue resolution as they arise
• Participate in broader departmental projects and initiatives when opportunities present
•  Continuously improve team processes to ensure they are efficient and reliable
