Location: Ancaster, ON, Canada (onsite)
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
Assisting in the implementation of standardized work instructions and other Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Work in compliance with Johnson Electric Production Systems
Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 all Johnson Electric policies and any other industry standards in all activities
Interaction with production operators, technicians and other key resources to assist with the documentation, standardization and improvement of processes
Assist and create mechanical drawings using Auto cad, Solidworks etc.
Create and Update work instructions, Tooling documents etc
Create and Update our PM system
Work in our tool room on tooling set up
Place tools in our tooling Matrix system
Conduct PM’s on fixtures
Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other related duties as required
Work on and maintain plant layout
What We’re Looking For:
Perform other related duties as required
Working toward a technical degree or diploma
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills
Independent and self-motivated worker
Hands on experience is a PLUS, this is a hands on role
Committed to meeting deadline requirements
Willing and able to multi-task and change priorities based on organizational needs
Strong ability to use Microsoft Office Software
Strong Auto Cad or Solidworks experience
Can Do” attitude
Willingness to be involved in hands on projects in the plant
Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
