Pmo Lead
Would you like to drive strategic alignment across project portfolios for our Denmark operation and work with senior leadership to drive sitewide transformational projects?
Then you could be one of our new PMO Leads, leading and delivering strategic initiatives as well as supporting operational performance across FLBD and driving the culture of Operational Excellence and continuous improvement.
Your New Role:
As a PMO Lead, you will support our business transformation efforts across FLBD. You will be managing cross-functional projects, coaching members of the senior team, and supporting the deployment of the operational excellence strategy across the Danish business.
Furthermore, you’ll be standardizing approaches and providing governance across functional project portfolios; you’ll also play a crucial role in aligning sitewide projects with organizational goals, ensuring resource allocation efficiency, and facilitating effective communication.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align and prioritize sitewide projects and project portfolios to ensure strategic alignment with site goals.
- Standardize project management processes and methodologies to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Monitor, report, and align projects with organizational goals for enhanced governance.
- Facilitate resource allocation and communication across project portfolios to enhance performance and accountability.
- Lead and deliver sitewide breakthrough projects, ensuring all organizational parts align towards sustained success.
- Act as a sparring partner to the Head of the PMO & Operational Excellence team as well as other members of the FLBD Site Leadership Team.
- Drive a culture of excellence through implementation of advanced Lean, Six Sigma and other innovative methodologies. The site is inspired by the Shingo Model of Operational Excellence and use this as the benchmark for the continuous improvement culture we are striving to create.
- Coach, challenge, and support teams across the organization to drive performance and enable continuous improvement capability building.
- Supporting the continuous Improvement of our PMO governance model, and Project execution framework.
To be successful in this position, we expect you to be results-oriented with strategic thinking, a good communicator, and have strong project and stakeholder management skills. You must have the ability to work across multiple functions and priorities simultaneously.
Your Skills & Talent
Necessary Qualifications:
- Significant experience in managing complex projects and/or portfolios, with proven results in successfully delivering activities within scope and time requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to define, track and report on project metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in coordinating efforts across an several priorities simultaneously and engaging stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong Leadership and Change management skills.
- Ability to manage resources efficiently and align projects with organizational strategies. Proven ability to manage resources efficiently; preference for having led a function/department or project team of at least 5 members.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate project challenges and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in operational excellence methodologies such as the Shingo Model as well as project management toolboxes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in management consulting is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience with engaging and coaching a senior team.
