 RN – Intensive Care Unit at Providence Newberg Medical Center. This is a variable shift role which necessitates a commitment of working five shifts over a six-week schedule period. The selected candidate will be required to work two shifts across various time slots of which the candidate selects. These includes weekends, evenings, nights, holidays, and standby periods. 

Extra Incentives: 

  • Evening shift differential – $3 p/hr 
  • Night shift differential – $10 p/hr 

Assists with basic patient care for patients and specific delegated duties that support the delivery of quality patient care, under the supervision of an RN. The Certified Nursing Assistant must be competent to interact and gather data from patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.  Consequently, the Certified Nursing Assistant must be competent to observe and report to RN a patient's self-report or behavior.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Coursework/Training - Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
  • Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. 
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1 year - Acute hospital experience.
  • 1 year - Experience as a CNA 2.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
