The Kadlec Patient Financial Counselor is part of a team who handles the direct interaction with patients and their families during difficult times, providing financial insurance and payment information to assist them in planning and managing their account balances related to specific services performed at the Kadlec Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Kadlec Clinics.  The Financial Coordinator is the liaison between the patient, front end collections and Revenue Cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years Experience in a health care setting, preferably in an Accounts Receivable/Insurance/Billing.
  • 3 years Experience with medical and health plan terminology, CPT codes, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
  • 3 years Experience with medical specialties and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) procedures.
  • 3 years Financial Counseling.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
