What you can expect to do here:
- Support the implementation of continuous process improvement and participate in the deployment of new automation tools to enhance accuracy and drive efficiency;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and process consistency;
- Participate in month-end close activities, focusing on sensitive analyses and follow-ups with management;
- Identify discrepancies in key financial data, understand and explain the reasons behind them;
- Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits;
- Review and validate monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts;
- Contribute to the consolidated monthly financial reporting to the parent company;
- Analyze and prepare various financial reports based on specific requests;
- Participate in business integrations by coordinating financial integration and alignment of accounting standards;
- Perform any other related financial analyses.
What you’ll bring to WSP:
- CPA designation required;
- Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English) required;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, including management experience, which is a strong asset;
- Ability to synthesize financial data, interpret results, and bring numbers to life;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables with deadlines in an innovative and dynamic environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization;
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and IFRS accounting standards;
- Demonstrates rigor and autonomy;
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP/reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI) is an asset
