Import Quality Warranty Engineer

• Liaise with source plants and LVEA teams to ensure IMG market concerns related to Imported Vehicles, are known to source plants and design teams, provide feedback on emerging concerns, and drive issue resolution.
• Lead the Weekly Plant Interface meetings focusing on Priority issues resolution impacting IMG markets.
• Work with FCSD and ensure timely deployment of Technical Service Bulletins, Diagnostic tools, and Field Service Actions to ensure the dealers have the necessary information to resolve customer issues quality issues. 
• Manage and timely report out of ITSS / SS impacting Import Vehicle Lines.
• Work with market quality teams to ensure containment of In Transit Stop Ship (ITSS) or updates prior to sale to protect customer from known quality issues.
• Deliver quality targets for all the Imported Vehicle lines.
• Manage / work with Quality data in Applications like, GSAR, Cubes, BSAQ, ECB to identify trends, prioritize issues and monitor the containments. 
• Lead and drive quality data analysis for significant issues impacting customers.
• Prepare presentations for IMG IQR and Global Import Export reviews.
• Drive and execute modernization/ waste elimination projects, that deliver efficiency and cost reduction. 
• Automate process using simple tools like Alteryx, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automobile
• Overall, 10 Years (with min 5 years in Auto industry)
• Exposure to Quality Operating system & Problem solving tools (6 Sigma)
• Analytical and statistical skill-set
• Vehicle manufacturing / Quality knowledge
• Working in an environment with cross-functional team (PVT, Quality, PD,ME, MP&L, STA, FCSD etc.) on a regional and global 
• Required skill: Data analysis, Problem solving and analytical skills. 
• Strong in English (Oral & Written). Speaking Mandarin orally will be an added advantage.
