Online Cultural Trainer in Taipei, Taiwan

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for an online Cultural Trainer to provide customized lessons to our clients.

We are seeking an experienced Cross-Cultural Trainer to lead a virtual "Expatriate Cultural Program"

Job Information: 

• Looking for Expat Cultural Trainers to conduct training, and help clients become familiar with working across cultures (Taipei, Taiwan)
• Subject matter: The program will be about the cultural adjustment and awareness. The trainer should know both business and outside workplace cultures and have solid experience in delivering and designing such programs.
• Number of students: We have two students who are moving from the US to Taipei, Taiwan.
• Training duration: 1 day (8 hours)
• Service Start Date: to be determined
• Schedule: to be determined
• Languages spoken: English
• Goal: Making sure families are secure, comfortable, and equipped to work across cultures

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging training sessions
• Developing curricula based on learners’ interests, concerns, and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
• To have a degree or certification in intercultural or cross-cultural communication, cultural psychology, sociology, cultural education, diplomacy, cultural instructional design, writing, or a related field
• To have a minimum of two years of cultural training experience
