What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intern in Downstream Processes to join our innovative team. This intern will play a vital role in optimizing our processes for the purification and analysis of key functional ingredients. You will gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge start-up lab environment while contributing to our mission to improve infant and specialised nutrition.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the development and optimization of purification and separation processes (chromatography, membrane filtration, precipitation, etc.).
Perform clarification, concentration, and formulation steps.
Contribute to product characterization using biochemical assays (SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Enzymatic assays…).
Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot scale.
Document experimental work and contribute to R&D reports.

As a junior member in a small startup your responsibilities will also span lab management, lab duties and helping other team members and more specifically our lab manager Julie in day to day operations!

Requirements

Pursuing an Engineering Degree in biological sciences, bioprocessing, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field. Prior experience in downstream processing or bioprocess development is a plus.
Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques such as chromatography, filtration, and other separation methods is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret experimental data effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being proactive and self-motivated.
