Spanish Bilingual Medical Receptionist

This is a remote position.

• Answer incoming phone calls /text messages/emails from patients and families in both English and Spanish
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments across multiple office locations
• Help with prior authorizations, refill of medications, and recall of patients 
• Handle appointment confirmations and follow-up calls with Spanish-speaking patients
• Provide customer service and support to a large Medicaid population
• Work evening shifts and weekends as part of the practice’s extended hours
• Maintain professional communication standards in both languages
• Work on camera via Zoom during all working hours for team accountability

• Full-time position working 40 hours per week
• Remote work using client’s dedicated computers and VoIP phone systems
• Work monitored through productivity tracking and call volume metrics
• Must maintain professional appearance during video monitoring
• Primarily sourced from Colombia or other Spanish-speaking Latin American countries

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in both English and Spanish (speaking, reading, writing)
• Strong grammatical skills in both languages with professional communication abilities
• Experience with medical office procedures and appointment scheduling preferred
• Comfortable working evening shifts and weekends as needed
• Commitment to long-term employment relationship
• Comfortable working on camera via Zoom during all work hours
• HIPAA compliance knowledge and willingness to complete training
• Reliable high-speed internet with backup connection available
• Professional home office environment suitable for patient interactions
