Why You Should Join Us

We’re on the lookout looking for a talented and dynamic Research Programs Manager to join the New Technologies Department. This position requires the preparation and submission of technological research proposals for National, European or international research and technology programs and opportunities, in cooperation with universities, research institutes, SMEs, other industries and public organizations.

What You ‘ll Be Doing

• Establish, retain, improve and expand relationships with potential partners involved in research, technology and development opportunities, with emphasis on European Defense Fund (EDF), Horizon Europe and National Defense/Dual Uses R&T&D Programs.
• Conceptualize and synthesize research, technology or development proposals as well as formulate strong consortia of involved partners.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of research, a technology and development proposals.
• Participate in the European Initiatives related to Defense Sector.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Skills:

• University Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in relevant technical area.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in any of the following areas: Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, ICT, Security.
• Experience in Technical and/or Commercial Proposals preparation.
• Excellent writing skills in preparing winning research, technology or development proposals in Greek and English language.
• Availability to travel abroad.

Desired Skills:

• PhD degree in relevant technical area.
• Experience in preparation, submission and supervision of EDF or Horizon proposals.
• Knowledge of the international Aerospace, Defense and/or Security Research and Technology domain.

Key Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to take initiative and motivation to drive results.
• Very good planning and time-management skills.
• High sense of accountability and great ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
